Between March 15 and 17, Franchising Brasil — an internationalization program carried out in partnership between the Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) — participated in another edition of Franchise Expo Paris and obtained as a result a business forecast of approximately EUR 4 million.
The Brazilian delegation was made up of representatives from the companies Bee Delivery, Corpo Bueno, Detroit Steakhouse, Fast4you, Giraffas, Global Franchise, Ital’in House, Lavateria, Nedeff Pestana, Pampili, School of Rock and Solutto, who participated in lectures, workshops and networking with investors looking for business opportunities.
In addition to participating in the fair, the representatives were also able to attend a workshop on the French franchise market in partnership with the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in France and with the participation of SECOM (Commercial Sector of the Brazilian Embassy in Paris). They also visited Dengo’s headquarters in Paris and CAVAVIN, a French chain of stores specializing in wines, champagnes and spirits, with a reception by Mr. Olivier Mermuys, CEO of the company and president of the French Franchise Federation (FFF).
Bruno Amado, executive manager of Franchising Brasil, points out the importance of participating in international events for franchises: “We are enabling Brazilian brands to stand out at international events and expand their businesses, building a bridge between them and the global market. The interest of the global market in Brazilian brands and the potential for expanding national operations abroad, especially in strategic markets such as France, are evidenced by the results obtained throughout the event”, he stated.
