Franchising Brasil drives the internationalization of Brazilian networks with a trade mission to the United States
The delegation, with 12 confirmed companies, will take part in workshops, technical visits and The IFA World Franchise Show
From 23 to 26 September 2026, Brazilian brands will be in Fort Lauderdale, in the United States, for a strategic trade mission. The initiative is promoted by the Franchising Brasil programme — a partnership between the Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) — dedicated to supporting and accelerating the internationalization of companies in the sector in the world’s largest franchise market.
The programme includes an in-depth immersion in the local ecosystem through a soft landing training seminar in partnership with local organizations, technical visits to leading operations in the country and two days of activities at the prestigious The IFA World Franchise Show.
The mission seeks to strengthen trade between the two countries, identify business opportunities and boost the expansion of Brazilian networks in North America. The delegation brings together representatives from different market segments, including the brands: Chipple, CleanNew, Corpo Bueno, EMAGRECENTRO, Global Franchise, JPB & Co, market4u, Milky Moo, Mr. Black Café, Pratique Fitness, Space Hunters and Yungas.
On the first day of the official agenda (23 September), the executives will attend a Soft Landing Seminar. The session will cover the US market landscape, regulatory frameworks, trademark and franchise legislation in the USA and retail sector trends. The day’s programme also includes a networking cocktail to exchange experiences and connect with local partners.
The second day (24 September) will be dedicated to technical visits. The delegation will see first-hand the operations of established networks and the US retail business model. This stage aims to detail the operational routine, consumer profiles and specific requirements of one of the most competitive markets in the world.
On 25 and 26 September, the delegation will take part in The IFA World Franchise Show, with activities centred on the Franchising Brasil pavilion. The space serves as a showcase for strategic meetings, presentations of franchise models to investors and prospecting for new business partners in the United States. The brands will take part as exhibitors or visitors to showcase their competitive advantages and expand their network of contacts.
For Andrea Ferrari, executive manager of Franchising Brasil and International Projects manager at ABF, the US market is a global showcase and a turning point for any franchise network. “By combining our presence at The IFA World Franchise Show with technical visits and the soft landing seminar, we have built an agenda focused on generating real connections with local investors and partners. The goal is to equip our brands so that their international expansion is consistent, sustainable and long-term,” she concludes.
