Brazilian franchises prospect more than US$1.8 million in business with international investors during ABF Franchising EXPO

The Buyer Project, an initiative by Franchising Brasil, took place during the largest fair in the sector in the country and brought together more than 20 Brazilian companies

 

From June 25th to 28th, ABF Franchising EXPO 2025 took place in São Paulo, reaffirming its importance as one of the most prominent global events in the franchising segment. The event served as a strategic hub for national and international agreements and for the promotion of Brazilian brands, attracting a diverse audience of entrepreneurs, investors, and experts from around the world.

Among the fair’s highlights is the Buyer Project, an initiative of Franchising Brasil — an internationalization program, the result of a partnership between the Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) —, which promoted 29 business rounds. The meetings between Brazilian franchises and foreign investors generated a business prospect of US$1,854,000.

International businessmen, Francisco Bazan from DGSA (Argentina) and Gerardo Marcano from Grupo David (Panama), met with representatives from 25 Brazilian chains, including established and expanding names such as Antaris Foods Brands, Buddha Spa, Café du Centre, Calçados Bibi, Chilli Beans, Churras Express, CleanNew, Corpo Bueno, Cozil, Datta Büsiness, Fast4you, Giraffas, Global Franchise, Grupo Latino Americano de Franquias, HOPE, Ital’in House, JAH Franchising, Jorge Bischoff, Maria Pitanga Açaiteria, market4u, Mercadão dos Óculos, New Shoes, Peggô Market, Piccadilly, Reino do Dog e VC.autor Assessoria Editorial.

In addition to the meetings, Franchising Brasil celebrated its 20th anniversary with a special cocktail party that brought together project participants, strategic partners, and figures who are part of the successful trajectory of this internationalization program.
