The delegation will take part in workshops, site visits, and the 30th Expo Franquicias Argentina 2025 in Buenos Aires.
From September 9 to 12, a delegation of 22 Brazilian franchise brands will be in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for a trade mission. This is an initiative of the Franchising Brasil program, a partnership between the Brazilian Association of Franchising (ABF) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), focused on promoting the internationalization of Brazilian companies in the franchise sector.
The agenda includes an immersion into the Argentine franchise market through workshops, site visits to industry stakeholders, and two days of participation in Expo Franquicias Argentina 2025. The mission is also supported by the Brazilian Embassy, local government entities, and the Argentine Association of Brands and Franchises (AAMF).
The mission aims to expand trade relations between the two countries and strengthen the presence of Brazilian brands in the international market. The 22 participating franchise brands include: Aramis, Bateras Beat, Bee Delivery, Buddha Spa, Casa do Construtor, Corpo Bueno, Doutor Sofá, Fast4You, Global Franchise, HGM, Ital’in House, Lavateria, Lave & Pegue, Maria Pitanga, Mercadão dos Óculos, New Shoes, Popcorn Gourmet, Rede Vistorias, Space Hunters, Urban Performance, VC.autor and Yungas.
On the first day’s agenda, participants will attend a Soft Landing Workshop at the Brazilian Embassy in Argentina. Through discussions and presentations with local lawyers, consultants, and franchisees, the workshop aims to prepare Brazilian entrepreneurs for international expansion, focusing on the Argentine market. To conclude the day, a welcome cocktail reception hosted by AAMF will be held. This networking event will bring together entrepreneurs from various countries and serve as a warm-up for the two upcoming days of the trade fair.
On the second day, participants will visit Café Martínez, one of Argentina’s most traditional coffee shop chains; Arredo, an Argentine home and decor chain; and Alto Palermo Shopping Mall, one of the most iconic shopping malls in Buenos Aires. The goal is to explore the challenges faced by franchisors, the operational adaptations made by franchisees, and the technical requirements set by shopping centers in Argentina.
On the third and fourth days, brand representatives will take part in Expo Franquicias Argentina 2025, held at the Ocre Pavilion at La Rural in Buenos Aires. The trade fair annually brings together local and international brands, consultants, suppliers, and potential investors. With over 29 successful editions, the event has established itself as Argentina’s leading business showcase for franchises.
At Franchising Brasil’s booth, eight Brazilian companies will showcase their brands and hold meetings. Visiting companies will have greater flexibility to explore other booths at the expo and build new connections.
Bruno Amado, Executive Manager of Franchising Brasil and International Projects Manager at the ABF, explains that the participation of Brazilian brands in the event reinforces the program’s commitment to connecting Brazilian franchising with new strategic markets. “Argentina is a key trade partner for Brazil, and this mission opens doors for our brands to get a firsthand look at the local ecosystem, build relationships, and identify expansion opportunities,” he says. “This exchange of experiences strengthens not only the participating companies but also the entire Brazilian franchise sector,” he concludes.
